WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS INTEGRATION

Microwave Data Links

Where cabling is cost prohibitive, physically challenging or mobile devices are used, we recommend and provide wireless RF (radio frequency) between buildings and offices. RF connection is generally available in line of sight up to 2km with network speed for RF up to 108Mbit/s and laser up to 1Gbit/s.Whether an extension of an existing fixed cable network or full propagation to many site locations,  RFS Labs has designed and built systems to suit. Licensed or free to air, our designs ensure that secure site data, voice, automation or video get from point A to B and anywhere in between to match the required site application.

Camp (MESH) Wi-Fi

The need for staff working in remote locations to stay connected has created the growing need for wireless communications to be available in and around modern Mining Villages or Offshore Sites.  RFS Labs have designed and built wireless broadcast systems for mining villages allowing staff to access internet services while maintaining corporate network and content security. Also we have valuable experiences in designing and building reliable state-of-the-art radio links for implementation of Remote Operational Management Systems for offshore oil and gas exploration and production industries. Systems can be an extension of existing hard wired services or full standalone wireless MESH systems and offer the option to bill all or selective users.

Solar Powered Repeaters

RFS Labs design and supply Solar Powered Solutions for repeater or end nodes capable of operating without sun for extended periods. Our solutions can be fixed or portable and designed to suit any application.

Oil Rig Communications

RFS Labs creates solutions for transmitting of Wireless data into and around offshore oil rigs and the surrounding site area. Our systems allow a blanket broadcast of Wi-Fi over the operational area which is used for Critical Risk Management, Fleet Management, Automation, Equipment Control and staff network access.High Frequency (HF) radio is used for first-line and backup communications over long distances, mainly in remote regions of the developed world and in developing countries. Government and private organizations are continually searching for the most flexible, reliable and cost effective solutions for their remote, emergency and security communications needs. HF radio will never replace fixed and mobile telephony as the first communications option for the general public, but for organizations involved in emergency and remote communications it is a vital and irreplaceable wireless communications tool.

Agriculture

Two-way radios can help keep you in touch with all of your guys from any of your equipment. Easy to use and always available two-way radios are an effective reliable choice for your communication needs. This is how you could be more than one place at once and control the process. Two-way radio allows users to link together previously out of coverage sites with IP Site Connect, improving coverage and voice quality while allowing workers to text and dispatch work orders to other users with digital radios.

Satellite Communications

RFS Labs offers comprehensive satellite solutions to remote locations, which are primarily focused on developing innovative approaches to communication challenges that cannot be accomplished by conventional mainstream means. Communication can be a major problem when managing a remote office or project.  In today’s information age, companies require the ability to communicate whenever and wherever they are; whether they are located offshore or hundreds of kilometers inland.  Communication with remote sites is vital. There are many companies now utilizing both terrestrial and satellite communication to connect to remote offices around the country.  The cost and security advantages of satellite bandwidth compared with some terrestrial circuits ensure that the number and diversity of satellite networks will continue to grow in the future.  The mining, construction and oil and gas industries are typical examples of companies that find advantages in the use of satellite communications.
